Many people now wish to celebrate the birth of a child and to ask friends and family to support and guide their child as they grow up. Traditionally this would be a religious ceremony but that does not need to be the case.
Back when my children were born we didn’t want a traditional Christening but just gathered the family together to celebrate the birth of our new child. Had there been such a thing as a baby naming ceremony available then we would have chosen that option.
With my help, your new family member can be welcomed to the world in the presence of your friends and family with music and poems, you can choose guardians or guide parents for them who can pledge to support and love your child as they grow and you can celebrate officially giving them their name.
As with all ceremonies I offer, you can tailor make the service to be exactly what you want using music and wording of your choice, including a prayer if that is what you wish. I will work with you and write a truly bespoke ceremony to celebrate this very exciting occasion!
